Advocate, educate and fundraise for better public transit in southeast Michigan.

Build and maintain relationships with elected officials, community, neighborhood and advocacy groups to assist Service Development and CEO with gathering of public input and community outreach efforts. Work with community leaders to form new relationships and expand transit options where there are demonstrated needs. Coordinate staff and resources to participate in community events and public input sessions.

Coordination of community events, participate in strategy sessions.

I will graduate from EMU's Urban and Regional Planning Program in December of 2011. I am thankful I have been able to study such an interesting and diverse field in a small program which allows professors to give students personal attention and tailor some classes to the interests of students. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities of planning that lie ahead for me in the Metro Detroit area where I intend to stay.I am also thankful for the support and dedication shown by my husband and sons while I have been in school. My graduation will truly be a family victory.
