A graduate of the MA programme in Travel and Nature Writing (distinction) at Bath Spa University, I describe myself as an emerging travel writer. I specialise in solo travel for the more mature members of society. I am also interested in the natural world, history and food. I was long-listed for the Bradt New Travel Writer of the Year, 2020. I’m an experienced food writer and editor working in British and American English. The emphasis of my work is on the healthy eating end of the cooking spectrum with a dash of baking and a pinch of indulgence. My books have been aimed at the international market, are pragmatic, reliable and written with visual appeal in mind. Most of my books have been published by Quintet Publications.My writing has been published in Cotswold Life, Good Housekeeping, Psychologies, Planet Mindful magazines, and Mylifeisatrip blog.My experience of dementia has led me to be a campaigning voice for the Alzheimer’s Society and write social commentary on dementia.CELTA qualified to teach English to speakers of other languages.Qualified personal development coach.
