Collaborate with Medical Director to complete evaluations of the Medical Team and other staff evaluations as required by Policy & Procedures. Train all medical staff on best practices approved by the Medical Director and monitor to ensurer they are used effectively. Ensure that all practices are based on sound medical policy and evidence based practices. Provide supervision to staff as assigned. Work with the Medical Director to develop sound medical policy, procedure, and standard operating procedures and effectively communicate changes to all staff. Implement procedures to ensure medical supplies of the facility are well-stocked and the equipment used is updated and efficient for the treatment of people served. Ensure the medical services environment is conducive to recovery consistent with Monarch philosophy and best practice standards. Ensure that staff members respect the rights of individual receiving services to make choices . Ensure that assigned programs provide individual receiving services with a safe and supportive environment consistent with recovery concepts and person centered planning. Perform nursing triage and direct nursing care when needed and provide supervision regarding medical and nursing procedures.

Developed and taught psychiatric nursing program courses for classroom and clinical in the senior year of the BSN program. Taught Leadership in Nursing classroom and clinical course as well as Geriatric Nursing for on-line RN to BSN program. Also taught Informatics class to pre-nursing students.
