I am a Vermont licensed Educator with a 3 -61 (School Librarian, Grades PK-12) endorsement. I am passionate about school librarianship, serving as a school library leader at the local, state, and national levels. I believe that school libraries are the hub of all school learning and am honored to support students by creating personalized, student-centered, innovative, and experiential learning opportunities that utilize the latest tech tools and are rich with digital informational content.My teaching philosophy aligns with that of constructivist learning theorists, such as John Dewey, Piaget, and Vygotsky, who all believed that students have the deepest learning experiences when they are actively engaged in the learning process. Students learn by doing, through experiential learning experiences.
