As a Nurse for 3o years I’ve done a little bit of everything. I started as a LPN at 19, working at a Nursing home. Moving than to a sub-acute rehab unit closer to home, I became a charge nurse with many responsibilities. This was a challenging position but I was fortunate enough to have many great Team members to help guide me and work with.During that time I went back to school for my RN and obtained my Associates degree. I did try Supervising for a bit but knew in my heart I wanted to be in the fast pace of the hospital.I moved to a Ortho floor, than Med surg at Kenmore mercy. Next to the Telemetry unity at Suburban where I spent 2 years on nights before going to the ER. From there I went to Kenmore Mercy’s ER. Emergency medicine is amazing and takes patience as well and kindness and empathy. I took a break and started back to school for my BSN after a back injury. During this time I did accept a position at United Healthcare as a RN Case Manager from 2010-2013 which I loved. Graduated with my BSN in 2012. Currently I am working for Virtual Medical Care as a Remote Telephonic triage Nurse. We provide triage for the Developmental Disabled population in the area as well as the Nurse line for Independent Health. I have been very fortunate to work with some amazing people. Always learning and doing what I Love.
