Strong arts and design professional with a Master of Arts - MA focused in Fashion/Apparel Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School.With a background in fine art Designer Deborah moved to New York in 2005 and enrolled at Parsons to earn a degree in Fashion Design. Starting with internships at Nicole Miller, Rodarte and twin shoe designer in NYC. She soon after moved to Italy, learning shoe making in the marché region and developing a small collection which was quickly picked up by Harrods, Dover Street Market, Liberty, and Matches amongst others.Deborah has also participated in catwalk collaborations with designers including J Mendel, Melissa Odabash, Julian Macdonald, William Tempest, and Richard Nicholl.Simultaneously she became the designer of a tailoring brand based in New York City with the collection sold to Browns, Henry Bendel, intermix and Takashimaya.In 2017 Deborah partnered with Kamelia Kamel to launch the eponymous womenswear brand “Deborah Lyons” in Harrods Designer Studio.
