QMED/Junior Engineer

Duties: Place protective coating on vehicles in compliance with specified procedures. * Perform buy/scan of vehicles to transfer status. * Place throw-in items in vehicles as specified. * Drive units to and from the customer and WWL VSA facilities as necessary. * Perform all functions of the PDT (location scanning) for the assigned account. * May locate and identify misplaced units. * Verifies that label matches VIN plate and work order. * Prints label, hangs in vehicle. May place other stickers as needed. * Adheres to all safety and vehicle damage prevention procedures, including speed limits, uniform and personal protective equipment requirements. * Other duties as assigned, including cross-training and assisting in other positions within the job/pay grade.

Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling customer vehicle service appointments and selling needed service repair and/or maintenance. Essential duties greeting customers in a timely manner; writing up vehicle problems accurately and clearly on the repair order; inspecting the vehicle and recommending additional services as needed; advising customer on the value of maintaining the vehicle in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications; providing a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts; reviewing repair orders to ensure that work is completed, ensuring any additional work along with customer authorization is documented; and explaining completed repairs and/or maintenance items to the customer; ensures that vehicles are parked in assigned areas; explains completed work and all charges to customers; maintains high customer satisfaction standards and handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.

-As a Manger of Tire Sales. My job was to greet walk in/phone customers and assist with Automotive service sales. I would assist with looking up previous service, offering new, and up selling, and assisting with offering and selling tires. Admin type work such of data entry, inventory control, filing, and Cash Handling. I would also assist the service manager with the building of tickets, and offering service the techs found with servicing the customer’s car. I also Assisted the Store with setting up sales, promotions, meeting and exceeding Sales goals, and quotes. As well at promoting top of the line customer service.
