Lead underwriter and project manager for the County’s NSP Rental housing program. Responsibilities include case management for all NSP Multifamily Projects, including evaluating projects for feasibility and reasonableness. Responsible for the entire Project Management Process, from acquisition and construction, through final property lease-up.

Consultant on affordable housing and community development projects utilizing federal funds.

• Day to day management and oversight of HUD’s Formula Grant Programs of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investments Partnership (HOME) Program and Emergency Shelter Grants (ESG) Program• Oversight of the American Recovery Reinvestment Act (ARRA) grant funds of Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP 1), Community Development Block Grant Recovery (CDBG-R), Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program • Assist Bureau Chief with oversight of Bureau functions including presentation to the County Board, presentation to community groups and other interested individuals

Responsibilities included providing technical expertise in the area of special needs housing, multi-family housing development and single family home ownership models. Specific duties included loan underwriting and processing, managing the construction payout process, grant portfolio management, including loan payment follow-ups and loan workouts; ongoing project assessment; annual project monitoring and audit evaluation for compliance with applicable federal regulations and procedures.
