I managed nine separate food areas including Subway, Auntie Anne, Einstein Bagels, Starbucks and other less known food areas. I managed a management team that consisted of four manages and five student managers. We managed nine full time employees and hundreds of student employees. The management team was responsible for all aspects of ordering, inventory and yearly budgets for their units. We all were responsible for all areas of interviewing, hiring, and pay roll. All full time employees were given written and verbal yearly evaluations. The management team did all of the brand training for specific food brands, all serve safe training and enforced the student handbook. We were the largest employee for all students and the largest international student employer. Our student employees were a great deal of responsibility, but we felt privileged to work with them.
