Assists Physicians with physical exams, minor surgical procedures, and treatments, such as dressings and ear irrigations, and administer oral medications and injections following the physician's orders. Assist with clerical and administrative duties such as answer answering phones. Assist with sorting medical charts, retrieving lab reports, scheduling appointments. Cleans rooms thoroughly after each patient visit and disposes of potentially infectious material appropriately.Obtain medical history information, vital signs, blood pressure, height, weight, BMI, head, neck and check circumference, pain, and accurately and legibly document medical history. Also, assist patients in completing and necessary and necessary paperwork. Perform a variety of laboratory procedures but not limited to finger stick glucose, vein puncture, EKG'S, urine dipsticks, urine pregnancy test, throat cultures, and point of care testing. Log analysis and prepares specimens as directed. Prepare and administers documents and immunizations on the client's medical record. Administer first aid and other related procedures, including changing dressings, removing sutures, applying bandages. Receives organizes stock and clinical supplies. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and provides for secure storage of medicine samples delivered by pharmaceutical representatives. Check medication samples for expiration dates and keep dispensing records. Support the provider staff with completing referrals for diagnostic testing and specialist following the provider order.
