As an educator I believe it is my job to make students feel safe, loved and encouraged. I am dedicated to meeting each students’ individual needs socially, emotionally, physically and academically. I strive to make life-long connections with both the students and their families to further reach their goals both in and out of the classroom. I have a lot to contribute to a team environment, and I am comfortable in both leadership and contributor roles. I'm outgoing, friendly, and have strong communication skills. Throughout my career I have had to opportunity to be a team leader, rewrite curriculum in multiple grade levels and all subject areas, coached and mentored many first-year and veteran teachers and have led data driven PLC meetings to ensure that all students’ individual needs are being met.
