Goals:To continue building a successful, satisfying and effective practice in executive coaching, through understanding and fulfilling clients' needs. To support clients in their decisions surrounding transitions in work and life and to help them navigate inner and outer change and challenges successfully. I use both my years of executive search expertise and coaching principles: the practical "what's the best way to do this?" with the deeper questions of "why do I want to do this?". I am a Certified Team Coaching Foundations Coach with the Global Team Coaching Institute, and a Martha Beck Certified Coach. I help leaders develop their skills, find clarity in articulating their unique leadership story and purpose, and more joy on their paths.Professional Experience:A former Partner with Isaacson, Miller, a national Executive Search firm that specializes in finding leaders for mission-driven organizations. I have worked with clients in Higher Education and a variety of other non-profit organizations, from foundations to advocacy. Previously a Principal with Secura Burnett for two years, Heidrick & Struggles International for four years and San Francisco Bay Area recruiting firms since 1995.With previous corporate and entrepreneurial business development and management experience in Europe, I have also lived in the UK and Europe.Specialties: I coach non-profit leaders (and through them, their teams, to help them thrive and further develop their leadership skills. Many are also contemplating or navigating change or transitions. I have conducted retained executive search for Executive level, General Management and Board Director positions. My focus in recent years has been in the non-profit space. My previous experience was in search for Financial Services and/or financial function positions. I have also worked on consumer and non-profit assignments, and marketing, HR and operations functions. I enjoy getting to the know the client and their mission, aspirations and challenges, and understanding their true motivations and interests.
