Trade Transformation • Innovated growth by steering the Loftware (global labeling system) Country of Origin project forward by identifying gaps and inefficiencies within the current process. Improved the core business processes by designing a procedure to improve end-to-end lead time for Spine CCR owners and the Country of Origin Determination team. Removed ineffectualness by creating guidance documents and implementing self-service tools to increase trade compliance by end of FY23. • Coordinated Country of Origin clean-up of 2,700 parts at Louisville CO. Secured 3 additional resources to assist with the pulling documentation to determine Country of Origin within the allotted timeline.• Worked with 12 MICD manufacturing sites and 8 external suppliers in FY22 to provide required information for a cost savings of $300,000+ for Trade Free Trade Agreements (FTA).• Collaborated with AI to complete the design and launch of the Broker On-time Performance dashboard in Power BI to increase visibility of brokers and carriers’ performance and provide information for follow-up actions.• Developed and implemented a Global Business Continuity Plan for the Global Trade Operations Team so when a Business Continuity event occurs a back-up process is in place to ensure normal business continues.Transportation Transformation• Acquired information for the Transportation gap analysis from 26 MICD manufacturing sites to determine which Transportation initiative needs to be implemented. • Created a roadmap for deployment of the Transportation initiatives that were identified in the gap analysis.

Business Continuity Management• Designed the Enterprise Transportation plan and playbook for response of events that could prohibit business continuity for both internal and external customers. • Monitored world events. Contacted external providers to discover if any disruptions of service would affect Medtronic locations. Events included Hurricane Maria and the Suez Canal Closure.• Communicated results to allow Medtronic locations and providers to be agile and reduces risks. Led the Healthcare Logistics Access Program (HLA) project to leverage Medtronic freight rates and achieve lowest total cost for transportation and drive carrier rebates. • Influenced internal groups on converting to other carriers to increase company cost savings.• When the provider was not fulfilling contract obligations, developed solutions for shipping issues (i.e. on-time performance). Presented solutions to Medtronic management and external customers to prevent further issues.• Used strategic analysis skills to research current shipping arrangements and operations to minimize the risks and effects of the carrier change and avoid operational interruptions. Collaborated with buyers and analysts to determine potential providers.• UPS Conversion Project – converted $700K of $3M total UPS agreement savings by converting several suppliers to UPS as well as implementing modal conversions to deferred modes.Orchestrated the Twin Cities Courier RFP• Analyzed and researched current state and presented results to the Transportation and Sourcing teams to ensure the lowest cost and services required would be included in the RFP process and contracts.• Converted 7 sites to one courier resulting in 80+k of cost savings per year. Collaborated with Sourcing, sites and the courier to ensure a smooth transition.
