Operations Manager
CurrentManage the Information and Referral (I & R) Center and staffing to ensure effective and efficient operations. Establish mechanisms for securing and distributing updated and accurate information. Provide callers and visitors with accurate information, scheduling, camps, site rental and registration. Manage all office operations. Develop and maintain working knowledge of all GSCWM operations, procedures, and programs. Prepare and reconcile required financial reports. Provide administrative support to the COO, including processing CORIs. Develop and implement strategies to increase retail store sales consistent with GSCWM’s strategic priorities and missions.Troubleshoot, provide training and ensure optimal use of POS systems in retail stores. Manage western area retail store(s), including inventory, displays, accounting for transactions, deliveries and customer service. Provide internal and external customer service in accordance with GSCWM’s customer service principles and model those principles.Supervise assigned operations staff to include scheduling; training; performance reviews; hiring recommendations; discipline and recognition.Serve as site safety coordinator. Manage orders for the office through the purchasing system. Oversee purchasing accounts for the office. Prepare and reconcile required financial reports. Maintain current knowledge of our computer software, program applications; data entry; reports; research; documenting transactions and actions, registration and other functions.Develop, recommend and/or implement office procedures, working in coordination with other office managers on organization-wide systems. Provide operational support for product sale program orders and distribution for the service center. Report to the COO regularly regarding operations, needs, changes and updates, and work to advance operational objectives and initiatives.Coordinate space and equipment utilization and scheduling through the established procedure.
