My name is Deborah Patrick, and I am currently a 2nd-year student (Junior by credits) at Howard University due to obtaining my associate of science degree from Bergen Community College during high school. I am a Biology major, Chemistry & Psychology double minor student on a pre-med track and plan to graduate in May 2026.My achievements and professional and volunteer experiences range from researching, shadowing, leading, hosting, managing, presenting, mentoring, and advising. Through these experiences, I have enhanced my abilities to lead projects/assignments, work independently and collaboratively, speak to various audiences, and develop my knowledge.With my interest in medicine and wellness, I have presented a TEDx Talk called ‘3D Rest’ and published the book ‘Restorative Healing Begins with Rest' at 16 years old to positively influence others. In addition, my previous internships through Brescia & Migliaccio Women’s Health and CECAT Abroad Medical Training and Shadowing, as well as my participation in Harvard College VISION Global Health & Leadership Conferences has helped prepare me for success as a medical doctor.My strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills provide an excellent foundation for me to fulfill my life’s mission of helping and educating others on the importance of health, rest, and self-care through the medical field.
