After a rewarding career in cloud technology, I now coach people with health concerns who want to change eating habits and reduce related anxiety. I assist them in creating healthy habits, crushing anxiety and feeling hopeful about their health and the future. I had a serious health condition and was told to avoid many favorite foods. After overcoming it by transitioning to a plant-based whole food diet, I stopped stressing over health disruptions. Now I enjoy delicious food, healthy eating habits, and sustained vitality.So I started my coaching business, Eat for Vitality, to assist others.I also source plant-based proteins and share relevant culinary and lifestyle tips and techniques. An important part of this is making plant based products accessible, affordable and available to consumers and chefs. That's why I work at Rainbow Grocery Co-op, a worker owned cooperative.Growing businesses that solve problems worth solving with truly innovative products and services is my favorite thing to do. In my view validating how innovative plant based and vegan products meet consumer needs while materially improving the world and crafting a compelling brand story to go to market are both exciting and essential to growth and competitive advantage.I stretch to better align my lifestyle with a passion for plant based, cruelty free proteins and a more sustainable food system. That passion is driven by a deep commitment to nourish myself and my family of vegetarians and vegans with alternative proteins and beverages that are nutritious, sustainably sourced, and taste great too.Also, I enjoy yoga, cycling, traveling, drawing, hanging with our cats and service to food banks, nonprofit boards and get-out-the-vote compaigns and speaking on Women-in-Technology panels.
