Campaign strategies were founded in research and executed using earned media, special events and community outreach, paid advertising, and fundraising and resource development through key partnerships. Additional responsibilities included new business development as well as outreach and coalition building for many ballot initiative campaigns managed by the firm.

Served in five divisions (Communications, Programs, Field Services, Human Resources and Advocacy) in seven years in increasingly responsible positions. Served as Transition Manager leading multi-departmental staff and volunteer work teams to shift emphasis of AARP’s community service and advocacy programs from the national level to the state and local levels. Teams directed new staffing and volunteer responsibilities and structures, reporting and evaluation systems, and budget restructuring.
