CurrentAs the Managing Director of Folsom Auburn Trail Riders Action Coalition (FATRAC), I passionately lead efforts to promote and expand trail access for mountain biking and other outdoor activities. My role involves strategic planning, fundraising, community outreach, and public relations, ensuring we meet and exceed FATRAC’s mission and values.Board Coordination: Plan and coordinate quarterly board meetings with the Board President.Policy Development: Work with the Board to implement personnel policies and procedures.Strategic Implementation: Execute strategic plans to achieve FATRAC's mission and goals.Program Planning: Develop and maintain organizational and program planning documents.Fundraising Leadership: Manage fundraising activities, including sponsorships and donor relations, raising $20,000 for trail building.Collaborate and Engage with Corporate Donors and Industry Partners Recognition: Proudly received the Partner of the Year Award in 2023 from the American River Conservancy for completing the Chaparral Ridge trail.Event Organization: Organize fundraisers, including a special edition Specialized mountain bike giveaway that raised $15,000 in 2024.Budget Management: Budget for all events and outreach campaigns and manage FATRAC merchandise inventory.Public Relations: Represent FATRAC in public relations efforts, expanding public awareness.Digital Marketing: Manage all social media platforms, email campaigns, and the website.Event Planning: Plan and execute all events and workdays, engaging the community in trail stewardship.Negotiations: Negotiate agreements with local outdoor shops for member discounts and merchandise sales.I focus on advocacy, education, and stewardship, growing a positive and unbiased culture within the mountain biking community. My work at FATRAC is driven by a commitment to connecting communities through trails and ensuring everyone has equitable access to nature.
