DeCA Commissary Sales & Marketing ContractingProvide daily leadership to approximately 16 military/retail sales representatives located throughout the country. 400+ shelf stocking merchandiers globally. •Teach effective merchandising and store level selling skills to employees.•Analyze store product sets and make recommendations for effective planograms.•Create sales territories and utilize mapping software in order to build efficient sales routes.•Oversee the handheld computer system utilized by field reps.•Provide data from handhelds and make appropriate decisions to positively impact the business.•Visit various markets to analyze conditions and provide recommendations for retail execution improvement.•Make local level account calls to interact with retail customer operations management to maximize retail effectiveness and develop productive relationships. •Resource, hire and train new employees.•Lead, develop, motivate and monitor performance of retail sales team to foster next-level skills.•Manage, hire and develop our field sales representatives within the defined area to maximize efficiency and saturation of market.
