Debra is a retired Human Resources executive with over thirty five years experience in the financial services industry. She retired in 2009 from Westfield Group, currently a $9 billion dollar financial services company as it’s Chief Human Resources Officer. As CHRO, Debra was responsible for developing a succession planning and leadership development program that was recognized by FORTUNE Magazine as one of the top three in North America; a best in class performance management program: a nationally recognized employee recognition program, and an award winning corporate wellness program.Debra currently serves on the Board of Trustees – Baldwin Wallace University, where she chairs the Experience Committee; she served as past president of the Baldwin Wallace Alumni Association. She has served on the Board of Trustees of the Ashland County Community Foundation (ACCF), and has served on the Board of Directors and is a member of In Counsel With Women (ICWW). She is a past member of Leadership Medina County and formerly served on the Board of Trustees of Akron General Health Systems/Lodi Community Hospital for 9 years. Debra received her undergraduate degree from Baldwin Wallace College where she majored in Communications, and her Executive Masters of Business degree from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). She holds the professional designation of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHRM) and is a Certified Executive Coach. Debra was recognized as a professional woman of excellence by the Summit County YWCA in 2002 and Northern Ohio Live Magazine recognized her as a Rainmaker in 2006. Crains Cleveland Business recognized Debra with the HR Leaders Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013
