Attending the Counselor's Masters Program in full-time classes and preparing for my LPC licensure in May 2014. Currently, I am in my practicum at a family counseling practice. It is a great place to get started and the proof that I should be in this field.

I was a volunteer available to do almost anything the nurses did not do and enjoyed every minute of my work. I began working at my internship for graduation and could not keep up with the times that were needed.This area is supplied with a wonderful volunteer group.

Interesting experience to work here in addition to MCorp, Inc. while working on my degree. I have enjoyed learning about most department; ICS, sales, cashiering, distribution, and much more. I enjoy working the most with great employees and happy customers and I see that as being the best part about working there. I was disappointed to watch them eliminate the Human Resource position at my location, so I kept my people positions on the floor and at the register. I was awarded a scholarship and worked there until I had to make a choice on a full-time master's program with internships and volunteer work promoting my experience. My husband began his doctorate candidacy, my oldest son graduated, and my other two sons were all in college at the same time. We were a family of academics. Wal-mart still has many of those great people I worked with and they ask how close I am getting to my degree when I see them.

I enjoy working at the family business with the investments, help with recruiting employees, and working to promote our businesses; U-haul, restaurants, construction, real estate, movers, auto restoration, setting up businesses, consulting, and home remodeling. It was challenging work, but a lot of genuine fun. I completed my BA currently, and have a dream to work in the field of counseling. Next stop my master's degree in counseling.

During the exhilarating eight years that I worked with a great group of homeschoolers in California, I was a director, administrator, activities coordinator, life support leader, and teacher for several support groups, classes, co-ops, and my own three sons. I was a leader in Fallbrook 4H and an active church volunteer in the children’s department and community service area performing duties that included teaching, and community support and activities.

This was a life changer for me. I had been a bookkeeper and then a computer programmer analyst for the better part of 12 years and never thought about staying home and being an active part of not only my own children's education, but others as well. It opened up a whole new world of learning, community involvement, advanced education, and support for people who wanted to raise leaders and children with integrity.
