A seasoned communications professional with 25+ years’ experience in the US and Israel, skilled at distilling complex topics into simple messages, researching and asking the right questions, writing clear copy that helps clients tell their story. I design and implement proactive PR strategy for corporate and nonprofit clients. I started out as a researcher-reporter at Forbes Magazine, and switched to PR when I was recruited by a top NY financial PR firm. I left agency life for the corporate world as head of corporate communications for a Lockheed subsidiary, where I was responsible for strategic and crisis communications during an intense corporate scandal. I created a series of public awareness campaigns for client cities of Boston, New Orleans, LA, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC. An award-winning PSA campaign I co-created for New Orleans' Parking Bureau eliminated physical attacks on parking enforcement officers.Before making aliyah in 2013, I was MarCom Manager for an e-commerce site search and conversion technology company based in Israel. This, together with my previous experience as Director of Public Relations for a NJ performing arts center, helped ease the transition to my first job in Israel. As Foreign Press Officer for The Israel Museum, Israel's largest cultural institution, I developed successful relationships with international media, resulting in 450+ media hits for exhibitions and events for the Museum’s 50th anniversary year, such as the world’s first Nano Bible. In addition to writing all press releases, social media content, advertising and marketing copy, I was a member of the senior creative team responsible for naming new exhibitions in English.My bylined (and ghost-written) articles have appeared in Haaretz/New York Times, Jerusalem Post, Times of Israel, Thrive Global, Sivana East, the Jewish Standard, the Jewish Press, JNS, and in various trade and family publications.
