Advanced Funeral PlanningI worked as an Advanced Funeral Counselor helping people make arrangements for funeral and cemetery needs. The job required being a very caring, sensitive, and compassionate person, all of which I am. I received great satisfaction from this position because I knew I made a difference and helped people with making the worst days of their loved ones lives much easier by preplanning their final arrangements. Families told me that after making their plans, they felt years younger and pounds lighter because they have taken care of the one thing they KNOW will happen.In writing these plans, they were funded either through insurance or a trust, this was my first exposure to insurance and I have been a licensed insurance agent since 2002.
