Leasing Management for a 35,000 s.f. warehouse that is home to several tenants from a local non-profit, to small businesses and artists. I manage all facets of leasing that include running background checks, reviewing credit history and references for potential tenants, negotiating rates, digital contract processing and sourcing vendors for build-to-suit needs.

Co-manager of Berkeley Historical Landmark office building with 17 offices, 9 retail spaces and 2 short term event rental spaces. Maintain excellent tenant relationships, collect, deposit and track all rents. Photograph and list available units. Review, negotiate and update long and short-term leases. Vet potential tenants. Insure tenant's liability insurances are current. Coordinate bids on capital improvements. Work with vendors/contractors for needed repairs. Interface with City of Berkeley departments as needed. Supervise on-site janitorial and handyperson staff. Deliver tenant mail. Route bills and correspondence to Accounting staff. Keep a daily log of activities. Report building updates at monthly Board Meeting.

Initially hired at Kaiser Permanente via the Rose International staffing agency in a contract-to-hire web developer position. After 3 months stepped into a newly created role in the Sales Mobility Department. In this position, my responsibilities included on site and virtual training (conducting webinars) for Kaiser Permanente's national internal sales staff on the use of their mobile devices (Apple) and proprietary applications. I also serviced mobile-related IT requests (Tier 1&2) that came both through help-desk software and direct request. A key part of my work was to develop and implement online and in-person training programs and communications, create and distribute user surveys, contribute to and monitor internal social media groups (Chatter) and created and updated Sales Mobility department site updates on intranet pages (SharePoint).

Started at Apple in retail sales within a large retail team (90 people!) connecting consumers and businesses to Apple products. Promoted in September 2017 to Technical Specialist in the Genius Bar, working as part of the technical support team responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer’s mobile devices. Position included learning a constant influx of new information about products and procedures and working with a demographically wide scope of customers.

Contracted to assist with Drupal CMS site migration at the George Lucas Educational Foundation (Non-Profit and also then publisher of Edutopia Magazine and its online counterpart edutopia.org). Once hired full time, worked as part of a team responsible for daily site updates, new web feature development, Drupal CMS upgrade implementation, metrics analysis and user-testing. Trained editorial staff to upload content to CMS. Compiled site audit for use by outside vendors. Project managed key content packages, created PowerPoint presentations, site banner ads, designed art assets, assisted in management of online store, photo edited and created image content for print and web articles, built weekly html e-newsletter, compressed video for web, built Edutopia iTunes U store (including designing, developing publication workflow, and staff training to implement). In addition, I worked on a variety of print projects (swag designs, company media kit, magazine ads and trade-show brochures). I enjoyed wearing a lot of hats!
