Preparing and delivering professional development.Mainly:- Online opportunities with communities of faculty- Faculty creating or adapting and implementing teaching materials- Faculty sharing through our Open Education Resource options on QUBES- Working with the workshop coordinator on in-person and our Summer Workshop eventsAdditionally:- Assist the executive director in other necessary tasks- Work with transition teams on changes to organization- Assist with grant writing for new projects- Create documentation and work with partners on new and existing project connections

Run Faculty Mentoring Networks- These opportunities bring together faculty online over the course of a semester- Create webpages, schedules, notes documents, etc- Led by peer mentors, faculty create or adapt and implement educational materials- Faculty then share out new or adapted materials through the QUBES OER platform- Create and distribute surveys to participantsAdditionally- Work with QUBES and BioQUEST teams- Work with new and existing partners on webpages and FMN opportunitiesJob expanded as our professional development opportunities grew, and thus led to the title change reflected in March 2021.

Assist the Secretary in note taking and organization requirements.

Instructing Geology 101 lab in the Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Earth Sciences.Led weekly laboratory experiments and wrote two exams for the semester. Worked with students on understanding rock identification, geologic processes, and science literacy.

Taught with Don Gillian-Daniels and Colleen McLinn. Class involved asynchronous and synchronous online environments. Duties included: Created a syllabus, responded to student materials, led discussions, and assisted in some technical aspects of the online setting.

Co-led with Dr. Gregory Moses. Class focuses on visiting blended classrooms on campus and discussing practices, methods, and research. Duties included: creating a syllabus, scheduling class times and expeditions to other faculty's blended classrooms, selecting readings, and leading discussions.

Working with a computer scientist on campus, I used my understanding of paleontology in general and the Paleobiology Database in particular to aid in the creation of an algorithm-based method to extract data from literature to compile similar knowledge as that currently held in the PaleoDB.

Honors Ecology with Libby Marschall- Fall 2008Assisted students on in-class activities, gave lecture, prepared examination questions, and graded all written assignments except examinations.

Ran a nature day camp during the summer, advised and supervised “Nature Club” (organized play in nature). led hikes, and assisted naturalists with larger programs (Knee High Naturalist, Bat Gala)

Performing analytical experiments on chemicals produced by the company and outside sources

During the summers in high school I worked at this day camp. For two and a half summers I was in charge of a group of 10-15 children and a junior counselor.
