I have been working with computers since 1990 when i got my 1st PC a 486sx, and this is where my passion for computing began, I am always interested in reading up on the latest technology being released, and also technology which is still in development stages so I can know where the future of computing is going (i.e cloud computing A.I computing very fascinating reading)In my role at the moment i have gained alot of new skills some inlude:- Training teacher for onsite curriculum, including modifying course to adjust for latest hardware software implementations. - Project Management (i.e rearranging stock to optimize ready to provision servers for customers)- Stock control of all stock in inventory servers that are in excess of client usual needs, as to keep onsite costs down.- Rack, build, cable, configure, and provision Intel and AMD servers- Rack, cable, and deploy Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment- Troubleshoot, test, quality assurance of server hardware- Customer focused attitude with more than 5 years customer service experience.- Professionally resolve hardware issues via trouble ticket- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with basic network and operating system installations and configurations (Windows and Unix)- Monitor and assist our automated provisioning system for new server orders- Monitor and escalate issues with customer’s servers as necessary- Thorough understanding of PC hardware concepts and component installation.- Knowledge of various internet-related services and software (mail, web, DNS, etc).- Excellent understanding of computer networking concepts.Thank you for reading my summary if you have any further questions please do let me know T.RegardsDecio Da Silva
