Event Coordinator and Store Clerk for Gamer's Library Madison, a Board and Card Game store devoted to providing access and communal play space to the community of down town Madison. In this role, I was responsible for maintaining the day to day functionality of a small business, from cleaning and opening the store, maintaining inventory, working the register, and engaging with customers to ensure a happy and comfortable experience for all customers. In addition, I worked as an event coordinator brainstorming, developing and organizing community events that involved upwards of sixty customers at a time. At such events I would run the operations of the store while running the events, engaging with players and resolving interpersonal and game rules conflicts.Beyond my listed responsibilities, I also provided graphic design assistance creating event advertisements for Facebook and discord, ran the social media accounts, assisted in the ordering of games, and helped onboard new employees. My role required me to quickly learn, apply, and then teach several skills, including the development of transition documents for other employees who needed to learn my skillset.

As the appointed Director of the Wisconsin Union Directorate Games Committee, I was responsible for creating accessible and novel programming for students of the UW Madison campus. In this role I developed, planned and led a minimum of three events every week involved in the domain of board, card and tabletop games both in person and online, with average attendance of board game nights reaching around 60 attendees. In preparation for events, I managed the marketing and logistics of planning each event alongside a team of associate directors that I had hired and trained. Our team was responsible for a budget provided by the University and the Student Union used to enable this programming. Outside of events I led weekly committee meetings designed to engage enthusiastic committee members to help design events of their own within the team's umbrella. In these meetings I gained significant experience in public speaking, communication, and the art of asking for and incorporating feedback. In this same role I also served on the Student Union Council, as well as the facilities advisory board advocating for the needs of students throughout the University.

At MPX Dev group I worked as a Web developer for Cloud based healthcare financial services provided by TASC. My responsibility in my team was primarily working on testing and bug fixing using Angular and RXJS. In this role I developed experience working in a fast paced Agile team environment, making iterations on an extensive codebase.

In my role as an instructor for Coding With Kids, I taught camps related on topics of Web development, Game Design, and Modding in order to introduce K-12 students to basic coding concepts, HTML, Javascript, Python, and Java. I taught courses through zoom, in either week-long summer camp formats or weekly "coder's ladder" lessons. In this role I was responsible for adapting lesson plans to meet students at their skill level. This role taught me vital public speaking and organization skills, as well as enhancing my fundamental coding skills through education.
