• Management of a team of c40 case managers responsible for restructuring criticised/impaired debt portfolio of c€800m.• Execution/implementation of strategies for asset recovery through proactive arrears management/restructure/workout of criticised/impaired debt. • Management of complex/difficult cases in a sensitive and discrete manner ensuring that recovery strategies are consistent with agreed Bank policies.• Restructure of the business unit to ensure that it is fully compliant and operates in an efficient manner with the ultimate objective being the integration of the portfolio into the wider Bank.

• Chairperson of the Credit Committee responsible for the approval of all credit applications within Lending Authority delegated from NAMA.• Involved in the formulation of credit policies/processes in conjunction with NAMA.• Ongoing interaction/negotiation with Government agencies/Board of NAMA • Directly responsible for the management of c100 professional lenders.

- Chairperson of the AIB Bank Credit Committee responsible for the approval of all credit applications up to €60m- Member of AIB Group Credit Committee responsible for approval of all credit applications greater than €60m within AIB Bank.- Responsible for the approval of applications for Credit facilities from Bank Branches for Mortgages, Personal and SME customers within delegated individual Lending Authority of €10m- Involved in the formulation, approval and dissemination of strategies, policies, standards and best practice for dealing with Personal and SME Customers in Difficulty and for new business- Directly responsible for management of a team of 40 professional lenders

• Responsible for the overall management of 9 AIB Bank branches/outlets in the Meath/North County Dublin region with a staff of c170 people.• Member of the Senior Management team responsible for the management of 100 Bank branches in the East and West of Ireland and outside of Dublin city.• Responsible for the achievement of annual profit plan for Credit and Deposit growth within my region.• Responsible for ensuring all aspects of Operational Risk within the region are addressed with suitable risk mitigants in place.• Responsible for all Human Resource issues within my region.
