I am a passionate and energetic educational leader with over 20 plus years of combined experience as a classroom teacher, educational administrator, motivational speaker, basketball coach and mentor. I am experienced and comfortable in all environments and situations. I am especially adept in all educational environments. I easily adapt to any situation and I am a born leader who knows, understands and embraces the truth that "the success of the individual depends on the success of the team." I am a consummate team player. Education is the key that makes you successful no matter what goals you have. I believe all success lies in these two rules that I have lived my life by in my personal life, as a Division I basketball player at Georgetown University, a professional basketball player and a basketball coach and trainer with over 20 plus years of proven experience.1. Whatever you decide to do, when you show up to do it, DO IT WITH GREAT ENERGY, DO IT WITH GREAT EFFORT AND DO IT WITH A GREAT ATTITUDE.2. Whatever you decide to do in life, STRIVE TO BE TODAY, THAN YOU WERE THE DAY BEFORE.It is these two things that have driven me to strive for success and continued growth both on and off the court. I have also taken this approach in basketball training. I am the founder and trainer of Basketball Addict Training. ( www.basketballaddicttraining.net). I am a former Georgetown University star point Guard 1986-1990, a former professional basketball player, a former high school basketball coach, a motivational speaker and mentor. As a high school senior, I was named as one of the 24 best high school basketball players in the country being ranked as the 5th best player in the class of 1986 and the number 1 point guard in the class. Along with those rankings, I was named to the prestigious McDonald's All American team and was named as a starter in the world-famous McDonald game. My motivation for creating Basketball Addict Training was developed from my unconditional love and passion for the game of basketball. Basketball Addict Training started from very humble beginnings. In 1997 I was the basketball coach and English teacher at TC Williams High School in Alexandria VA. A friend of mine who had a daughter in the 8th grade asked me to work with her to prepare her for high school. from there and through word of mouth, Basketball Addict Training was formed.
