I have been in the nonqualified executive benefit planning industry for 20+ years. I began my career at Nationwide Financial in 2003 as a consultant for traditional nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements. I quickly became passionate about the role and became a student of the industry, diving into business planning and succession strategies, as well as qualified retirement plans. I enjoy partnering with other benefit consultants, in-house counsel, and financial professionals to help their plan sponsor and business owner clients find creative ways to recruit, retain, and reward top talent.Because of my expertise in the industry, my work ethic, my strategic approach to problem solving, and my leadership skills, I have been recognized as a valuable asset in achieving results for Nationwide Financial. I currently lead a team of attorneys who are experts in both qualified retirement planning and nonqualified executive benefit planning strategies for both private sector companies and public sector organizations. In addition to case consultation, I am a polished professional speaker often presenting at national broker/dealer conferences and conduct educational presentations and seminars for financial professionals.In addition to my law degree, I have obtained my Master of Science in Management Degree from The American College, hold my Ohio Life and Variable license, and FINRA Series 6 and 26 licenses. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and our children. We enjoy beach vacations with friends and family, high school soccer, and our newest adventure - University of Kentucky Football and Basketball (Go Cats!).
