Registered general adult Nurse. Currently working as a Specialist Homecare nurse carrying out IV and subcut treatments to patients with rare diseases and autoimmune conditions to include, Enzyme replacement therapies, rare haematology conditions, Immunoglobulin therapies , myasthenia gravis and Biologics . I am competent In the skills to include - being able in cannulate, access Ports, Picc lines. I also provide training and support to patients on a range of subcut and Biological therapies. Face to face, virtual and phone calls which include coaching, motivational and patient support phone calls for patients who have Rheumatoid arthritis, Multiple sclerosis, Crohns, Ulcerative Colitis and Psoriasis.Previously worked as a Clinical Services Manager, responsible for the Clinical operations of resource and the clinical leadership of a team of Specialist Chemotherapy Nurses and Homecare nurses. Other Leadership and management experience to include the coordination of a busy ward and all its resources including the team. I pride myself of my strong organisational skills and patient centred care. I have a passion for service improvement and have successfully been involved in implementing and managing various projects. Within this I have been involved in a mock CQC and been part of a clinical governance committee with a NHS Trust. My reputation has always been outstanding and complemented by colleagues.
