I'm a pro-bono designer for Des Moines Tech High School Alumni since 2002, Lakewood RV Resort (Harlingen, Texas)since 2009, DMACC Pioneers since 2008, Grace Lutheran Church since 1969, Friends and Family all my life. Graduate of Iowa State University. Awards include Jr. Achievement Salesman (1954), Gold Key Award for Art (1956), Iowa State Fair & Chip-O-Tex Wood burning project ribbons (2012-2017), Teacher of the Year Iowa Vocational Association, Numerous National Vocational Industrial Clubs of America Gold Medals (now Skills USA) from 1975 – 2008, Outstanding Pioneer Award (2010), Art Directors Association of Iowa Silver Medal (1981) and numerous Student awards from 1970–2008. I'm a proud mother of 3 and was married for 50 years to my partner and best friend, Lee Johnson. I live on an acreage outside of Des Moines and enjoy feeding birds, growing flowers, living independently. All of this is making me tired. Time for a NAP!
