Program Supervisor
Current• Oversee the operations of the Program including planning, organizing, coordinating and directing the daily operations of the center• Plan, organize, and facilitate staff training• Provide supervision, and evaluation of performance of teachers• Support program administration, including strategic planning, visioning, and program compliance• Demonstrate teaching, providing consultation, team building, problem solving, and collaborative instructional support• Provide positive and non-evaluative feedback• Provide coaching and mentorship to teachers, in two main areas: (1) Best Practices in: Professional ethics, teacher/child, parent/teacher, teacher/teacher relationship, supervision, developmentally appropriate activities, curriculum implementation, observation and evaluation of children. (2) Inclusion of children with special needs in areas of: Curriculum, planned activities, individual needs and identification of unmet needs for the child• Collaborate with contracted coaches such as the Mental Health Consultant, Preschool for All Coach, and San Francisco Inclusion Coach in providing classroom support• Provide resources and referral for parents
