I have over 20 years of experience in Software Development. In that time, I helped grow a startup from a tiny company of three employees to a multinational incorporated on 6 continents and successfully through an acquisition. Working for a startup made me flexible - I am not too proud to do whatever is needed for the success of my role. Working for a large multinational made me careful and precise, and able to follow complex procedures.I have served in many roles over the years. I have been a developer, a lead developer, a project manager, a mentor, a product owner and a Support team leader. I was responsible for major pieces of the architecture of software which is used by thousands of users. I started our Support team, and grew the processes and the team members to be a world-class Support team.My development experience is mostly in Python and Javascript (React Redux with ES6, node.js and vanilla Javascript with browser support), with some work in Java, C# and C++. My specialty over the last few years has been troubleshooting, solving issues which other people struggle with - long-term memory leaks, performance bottlenecks in highly concurrent environments and other things which go wrong with no explanation.
