I have an eclectic work history supported by an eclectic mix of hobbies, I worked on cars incessantly through my teenage years and developed strong skills with automotive tools and spatial relations. I attended a portion of a degree in chemistry at Walla Walla Community College. Shortly after, I attended and graduated top of class at Northwest Lineman College, where I learned to climb poles and towers, wire and install transformers, safe practices with high voltage, heavy equipment operation, and other very blue collar technical skills, I then went on to work a short stint as a ground worker replacing a substation's ground grid. Throughout, I worked in a lot of customer service roles throughout it all and learned how to meet a customer where there at and help them with anything I am able to., I developed a interest in hobby electronics and have a decent grasp of electrical theory, soldering, and diagnostics. For instance, I've built a Tesla Coil and have used oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, and all the other equipment common to hobby electronics.I work in an office setting often now and use tools like excel and powerpoint to build out reports and deliver presentations to potentially hundreds of employees, In this same role I go out in the field and coordinate dozens upon dozens of ST Ambassadors, I track the participation of all those ambassadors and ensure they are appropriately credited for their support. During Ambassador deployments, I get to meet professionals from all across the agency and learn how their work impacts ST as whole. Overall it's something of a strange mix of hobbies and occupations but it has uniquely suited me to the path I find myself on now in the world of regional transit!
