With my wife Lisa and our entire community we created the Hurricane Valley School and Community garden which teaches permaculture, and organic locally grown nutrient dense food production. We sponsored our local High School FFA chapter for their nationals presentation on community gardens. Lisa's work in the garden has been published in a national magazine and received state wide recognition for the garden's focus on educating the next generation of sustainable food producers. Co Founder and President of a national consultancy in business excellence practices. Dee focused on real estate development consulting of Green and New Urban Design communities. Consulting on all facets of projects including acquisition strategies, regulator negotiations, licensing / permitting, engineering, finances, and marketing. From 2004 to 2009 Dee aggregated 840 acres, annexed it into Washington City and entitled 260 acres as a new urban community with constructed wetland sewage system, 19 acre Consumer Supported Agriculture farm, and 640 housing units with neighborhood commercial. We created the first Agri-hood in the USA right in Southern Utah! Since the housing market crisis Dee has turned his focus to creating new ventures with focus on technology and real estate in the oil industry.

He aggregated 825 acres of prime development land in Southern Utah and turned it into a $65 million dollar Traditional Neighborhood development complete with $9 million access bridge, Constructed Wetlands Waste Treatment System, and neighborhood CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) organic farm.

In 1990 Dee founded this high tech consultancy specializing in Network infrastructure and high end LAN/WAN management. IIS Inc. provided design and implementation consulting for private business, government, and enterprise level customers. Customers included the City of Topeka, county 911 centers, Kansas Bureau of Investigation, US Postal service, and private enterprises. The company expanded during the Dot.com, and Y2K surges resulting in a multi-million dollar company employing over 25 specialized engineers and software developers. Expertise in GIS with ESRI products, VAR for CISCO Systems and Microsoft products, the company was sold in 2000 and absorbed by a national consulting firm.
