I am responsible for ensuring that Aware delivers high quality and consistent training across all of its seven programmes. My role involves continuous recruitment of Contract Trainers, and delivering high quality training to train them to deliver a range of Aware programmes to a variety of target populations.Key Objectives• Develop and implement training and recruitment policies.• Manage all contract training and recruitment needs.• Ensure that Contract Trainers are trained to the highest standards.• Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of training and recruitment.The key areas of my role are: Ongoing evaluation of the training and recruitment policies for the services and redesign/improve when required Ensure that the policies are implemented consistently. Ensure that we have sufficient Contract Trainers to deliver our services, by location. Develop, implement and conduct monitoring and evaluation process for Contract Trainers, by conducting one on one assessments of all Contract Trainers, and record detailed outcomes of their delivery, for ongoing reference, to assist with achieving acceptable performance standards Responsible for the quality of all the literature – presentations, manuals etc. that accompany training and recruitment. Work closely with the Contract Trainers so that consistency and quality of training is not compromised Work closely with the Director of Services and heads of service delivery to ensure that needs are being met and that standards are being upheld. Contribute to the wider strategic development of Aware including provide support and assist internal fundraising/partnership activity with corporate presentations/content Manage my time effectively

I currently enjoy delivering and facilitating a variety of training interventions to different audience groups, for this charity;“Life Skills Programme for Schools” (aimed at 15-18 year old students to help them “live life to the full” ) This was a pilot I recently delivered to a number of secondary schools and subsequently helped evaluate its’ outcome. My new experience of delivering to young adults has enhanced my strong communication skills, teaching me how to adapt assertively to this target audience. The pilot also gave me the opportunity to develop different styles of engagement and encouragement required to manage this age group. “Wellness @ Work” (delivered to all levels within the corporate sector) My extensive corporate experience has proved invaluable in organising and delivering these training programmes to a diverse range of audiences and to a very high standard. I believe I have an ability to quickly weigh up the particular needs of each group of attendees which means that I can translate the content to make it most relevant“Life Skills Programme” (6 x 90 minute weekly sessions designed for adults, suffering from mild to moderate depression) My ability to fully empathise with this audience type is a huge factor in achieving a successful conclusion to each of these training programmes. I have enjoyed learning more about the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT,) which is an integral part of the programme, and based on formal and informal feedback, I believe I am an effective and popular facilitator. I find it extremely rewarding when it is clear, on completion of the modules, the positive impact it has had on some of the attendees, which can sometimes be life changing. Undoubtedly, my caring nature is also a positive factor in the effective delivery of this training curriculum.
