I am a senior tax professional currently working as Senior Director - Tax at GMG. GMG is a global well-being company retailing, distributing, and manufacturing a portfolio of leading international and home-grown brands across sport, food, and health sectors. My role with GMG involves complete oversight of group tax matters including but not limited to VAT, corporate tax, the pillar 2 - global minimum tax, transfer pricing, payroll tax., economic substance requirements, etc. Prior to joining GMG, I worked with PwC ME/ India, Deloitte, Grant Thornton India and WTS Dhruva, Dubai and serviced large multinational and SME clients in the area of taxation and allied laws. I led large GST and VAT implementation projects across industries with focus on consumer/retail and financial services industry in GCC and India. I was advisor to large MNCs and local family groups for their day to day tax matters, tax structuring and dispute resolution. I have handled corporate tax and pillar 2 impact assessment for large MNCs and family groups in the UAE.
