Responsibilities:• Ensuring compliance to project scope, schedule and cost constraints on different kinds of hardware and software aerospace projects• Reviewing and approving initial baselines and sprint plans; looking after project allocation and portfolio performance; providing short range outlook for leadership review; managing escalations.• Responsible for implementation of industry accepted practices on cost (EVMS) and schedule control on the projects and documenting the project changes from initiation through closure• Responsible and accountable for planning and managing risk on the project; facilitating discussion on risk identification, prioritization and response planning; registering and monitoring risk on risk-registers; estimating and reviewing contingency reserve and management reserve throughout the life of the project.• Holding weekly project performance review with the Integrated Project Team (IPT), updating them on current project statuses and requesting RCCA on variances; reviewing budgeted cost of work remaining against the available funds; initiating necessary change requests whenever required.• Participating in the Project Management Review (PMRs) held by senior leadership; presenting key performance indicators, highlights and challenges with the projects in execution, on-hold or in-pipeline• Guiding and motivating the team, looking after their project assignments, helping them solve the project related issues, appraising their annual performances• Strategic Planning: Identifying opportunities and defining detailed execution plans in partnership with COE leaders, & STRAP lead to ensure a good pipeline of projects to drive growth by effectively leveraging AOP

• Managing the high and mid-level project planning and execution; and striking a balance with the need for agility and ensuring the key processes & documentation.• Support in creation of detailed project management plan with WBS (work breakdown structure), identifying risks, issues and mitigation plans and resource allocation across all Project Lifecycle stages.• Managing the project progress by tracking and reporting as per project plan.
