A. Ensuring adherence of HSS processes in SSO Kolkata with the HSBC Internal Financial Policies, Regulatory/Compliance requirements.B. Performance of internal control (audits) based on preset themes of reviews across HSS.C. Produce various MI for upper management to assess business performance in terms of risk and compliance.D. Provide consultation to HSS Operations Teams on various Risk Related matters as a Operational Risk Subject Matter Expert.E. Providing migration on boarding review and clearance in terms of risk appetite and acceptance.F. Manage, Investigate and suggest preventive controls and process design changes for operational error, complaints and losses.G. Manage a good working-professional-approachable relationship with Operations Managers as principal counter parts.

Leading a Team of around 10 individual associates and senior associates taking care Of Custody & Clearing Operations for HSBC Bank Middle East Limited for the capital markets of Oman, Dubai, Kuwait, Bahrain.1.Have migrated Custody and Clearance Settlement and Foreign Exchange desk from HSS Oman single handedly.2. Currently serving as Assistant Manager Operations for settlements and Foreign Exchange Desk, for HSBC HSS Oman, the Process requires Custody of client's securities and cash accounts held with the HSS Oman.3. Key responsibilities include settling equity and bond trades in client securities accounts, liaising with Muscat Stock Exchange for various trade related issues and for blocking and unblocking of securities for safe keeping of securities in client's Demat accounts held with the depository.4. Is also responsible for handling the foreign exchange deals for FIIs, involves taking FX deals with treasury handling HSBC NOSTRO Accounts and repatriating funds to FIIs to the country of domicile or as required.5. Responsible for Cash Reconciliation and investigating any surplus balance in the HSBC wash through cash account( Suspense Account) used for receiving and paying trade proceeds with the Brokers & the Stock Exchanges.6. Have laid down the standard operating procedures in sinc with the Muscat HSBC Site, prepared Desk Instruction Manuals, for the process continuity.8. Have also been part of important business calls for finalization of Performance level agreement.9. Currently apart from functioning for daily processing activities am also responsible for working as a Subject Matter Expert for Oman Settlements do work with a regional Team of high level experts for a calibration and standardization project for three major Gulf Capital Market processes in CnC Kolkata viz. UAE, Oman & Kuwait.10. Responsiblefor Management Information systems such as Volume tracking, CQI presentation and error and quality tracking.

Responsible for:Uploading and Maintaining NAVs on Transfer Agency SystemsGeneration of NAV ReportsReporting VariancesFollowing and resolving any issues due to system or otherwise that can delay the NAV reporting to the Fund Managers.Generation of various Reports On Revenue, Performance of Distributors, Trailer Commissions payable to Agents and Brokers on a monthly or quarterly basis for the Fund Managers.Corporate ActionsResponsible for Processing Cash & Stock DividendsBonus IssuesPayments of Dividends and Credit of Units due to Corporate ActionsProcessing Liquidation of Mutual Funds.Value Added in:Most successful UATester for System enhancementsBridging gap between the requirements of the Operations and ability to provide at the IT Team's side.
