Developed the procurement documents and evaluation criteria in selecting the most qualified consultants for the project.Provided leadership and guidance in Stakeholder consultations and preparation of design briefs by consultants. Reviewed plans, designs and specifications during the pre-construction phase.Reviewed construction cost estimates and conducted value engineering options to ensure project remained with Client's approved budget.Reviewed and facilitated design and critical reviews of consultants design and tender documents.Procured Commissioning consultants and provided oversight of the commissioning process from design to construction and closeout Lead the construction tender and procurement process for the Client along with negotiations with contractors to finalize bids. Assisted in award of contract, including contract preparation.Reviewed progress payment requests, implemented design change orders and negotiated the related financial aspects. Inspected construction to review compliance with contract specifications.Managed quality assurance reviews during construction to confirm conformance with project specifications and requirements.  Tracked project closure formalities including compiling deficiency documentation, warranties, Operations and Maintenance manuals. This iconic building has a unique structural system consisting of diagonal and vertical steel bracing.
