Project Description: Global Communication System is an enterprise component which is leveraged by almost all key business areas for communication such as letters, E letters and emails within American express including New Accounts, Marketing, Credit, Corporate and International. Responsibilities: Actively involved in analysis, design, Java coding, implementation, unit testing and deployment. Distributed Tech working as a core technical team member for new requirements and enhancing the functionality of existing system and involved in migration of WAS5 to WAS6 servers. Single POC from offshore team for all production issues encountered for all projects and provided L2 and L3 support for GCS application. Responsible for making sure that production environment is available and no deployment is causing impact to customers. Involved in Building and deploying projects and do end to end testing. Worked on fixing issues and change requests. Worked for troubleshooting the production issues. Worked in migration from WAS 5 to WAS 6 for many applications. Actively deployed this project in the testing and production environment. Oversaw implementation of application developments. Escalated unresolved issues to appropriate level. Ensured proper release and maintenance of all systems.

Project Description: Bristol-Myers Squibb is a global Bio-Pharma company firmly focused on its Mission to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases. The project which we support was based on Documentum Framework with Java in front end and JDBC for database. The application has to store all the files that are being used for studies so that it can be used world-wide. It acts as a centralized repository which allow user to upload their data and the data will be saved electronically. The pre-defined templates are provided for storing the data in electronic form so that it can be used world-wide using Java and Documentum.Responsibilities: Core Java Developer and support for production tickets. Actively involved in analysis, coding, implementation, deployment, and configuration. Worked with REMEDY to support tickets (L3/L2) for ESF application. Worked on various releases to create new templates for new studies.  Created Test Scripts and did manual testing using HPQC. Worked on Developer level unit testing and integrated testing. Worked on fixing issues and change requests. Working for troubleshooting the production issues. Working with the team for quality delivery. Actively deployed this project in the testing and production environment. Involved in the Deployment of EARs and WARs on the Application Server. Evaluated and conducted technical and functional research and analysis. Developed front-end and back-end of web applications. Maintained records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken. Prepared detailed technical design specifications for programs Prepared detailed technical design specifications for programs.
