• Collect requirement from Project Management Team and develop purchase request based on commodity, select qualified suppliers and send RFQ/RFI.• Conduct techno commercial negotiation with suppliers.• Preparation of contracts based on the requirement and commodity.• Procurement of Direct & Indirect materials and ensure availability on time.o Raw materials – Plates, bars, forgings, castings etc.o Standard and customized bought-outs/System equipment.o Subcontracting for machining, fabrication and assembly.o Consumableso Jigs and fixtures/Tooling• Part of New Product Development (NPD) team to ensure development & evaluation of suitable supplier, share engineering drawing with identified supplier, conduct technical discussion and highlight to internal engineering team.• Perform supplier audit & evaluation.• Coordinating with internal service providers like store, quality control, accounts etc. and ensure smooth material flow.• Establish service contracts for man power, NDT logistics etc. & rate contracts.• Provide required costing details to marketing team during cost estimation.• Maintain Service Level Agreements with suppliers and various departments.• Provide required training to new joiners.

• Planning and coordination for full kit availability based on customer need, inventory control, cost optimization & delivery targets. • Collaboration with estimation team for bidding new projects.• Coordinate with Quality Assurance Team and prepare acceptance criteria & procedure as per technical requirement and submit to customer• Interaction with external customers, supply chain, marketing, quality control, store, accounts & suppliers for proper flow of materials to ensure delivery targets. • Issue of materials, bought outs, sub-assemblies to production team to ensure readiness of items as per schedule.• Supervision of test facility integration for development jobs and carry out trials based on contract. • Conduct monthly review meetings and update the targets and action plans with higher management.
