CurrentIT Infrastructure:-Analyzing business needs and spearheading initiatives regarding establishment of IT infrastructure including procurement of hardware & software and handling AMC contract.Selecting, evaluating and implementing effective and efficient systems including hardware, software etc.Administrating and managing all hardware and software in the organization.Acquire requirements of end user needs and translate them into technical specifications.Maintain and keep the updated IT infrastructure (hardware & desktop applications) inventory information. VPN implementation Security Management:-Assessing security standards, managing licensing and software standardization issues.Reviewing the security architecture and mechanisms, and recommending cost-effective changes to the existing structure.Steering the design & implementation of security solutions, looking after security administration of perimeter control systems (on a daily basis) comprising Firewalls, IDS, Network Access Points, Content Inspection tools, etc.Network Management:-Handling the functioning of networking operations to ensure adherence to the network operations standards.Installing and configuring networks & maintenance of LAN / WAN & Cisco routers along with implementation of reports regarding the services provided to the top management.Suggesting improvisations in the network management procedures in order to augment efficiency levels.Manage the installation, commissioning as well as the on going operation and support of the network.Monitor the spare inventory to ensure adequate but not excessive stock..Propalms Terminal Services, Propalms VPN - Secure Remote Access, Propalms VDI - Managing Virtual DesktopsVendors Management:-Generating IT related infrastructure requirements. Inviting quotations, analyzing and selecting the best vendor. Dealing and negotiating with various vendors.
