Elam, an Informal Sector Enterprise Development Programme of HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal, focuses on employment and enterprise generation based on capacity building and the promotion of local resources through the Enterprise Service Provider and Local Resource Person. Local business clubs, associations, organisations, government, private sector industries, traders and buyers are the stakeholders and partners of the programme.

The Natural Resource Management Sector Assistance Programme (NARMSAP), a DANIDA funded bilateral sector programme implemented through the Ministry of Forest and Soil Conservation (Government of Nepal) to strengthen the natural resource management sector in Nepal. The overall development objective of NARMSAP is to improve the livelihood of the people in the rural areas of Nepal. The immediate objective is to achieve improved management of the natural resources of Nepal, based on local participation and using sustainable social, economic, and environmental practices.
