Operating IHG Brand Safety Standards Operating Risk Management (Safe hotel Manage Risk)Initiates and finalizes fact-finding investigation on any unusual or untoward incidents that may occur within the hotel. Submits its findings to Management for appropriate action.• Oversees the operations of the contracted Security Agency to ensure that standards established by the hotel are adhered to.• Ensures that all safety and security policies are observed and adhered to in providing security for guests and employees.• Develops and executes the Hotels Emergency/Contingency Plans.• Responds to Emergency Calls in accordance with specified procedures and roles for members of the Hotel Emergency Action Team • Facilitates employee training and periodic reviews on departmental responsibilities in case of emergencies.• Ensures proper maintenance of all equipment in the department.• All upkeep of fire Fighting and Detection systems.• To manage the main porch activated like of control of traffic, control of all incident.• Handling of the lift rescue operation.• Handling of the Emergency evacuation guest & staff.• Patrolling report making of the hotel property.• Standard Operation Procedural training.• Usages and Maintenance of security Equipment’s.• Conducting training Programmed in firefighting and Prevention for hotel staff.

• Oversees scheduling of Security staff to ensure maximum productivity.• Motivates staff by providing positive feedback and reinforcement.• Maintains updated files on all reported losses and resolution thereof, including non-resolution.• Analyzes reported losses over a period of time, and modifies security operation in accordance with findings.• Maintains an updated file of all regulations or legal requirements pertaining to handling of loss and theft.• Develops strategies that would best apprehend losses or theft, and implements upon approval of the Manager, Security.• Trains/Educates staff on records maintenance per area. Is responsible for the submission of a logbook of activities to the Manager, Security on a daily basis.• Ensure smooth and effective running of his shift, through proper planning and deployment. • Ensure and co-ordinate the security/safety of the hotel/Guests/staff and property during the shift.• Maintaining and handling the CCTV and other security equipment’s.• Investigation of all theft and other security related issues and submit the relevant report to the head of security.• Handling Royale Mirage (Night club).
