With over 22 years of work experience in cyber and information security, I am a passionate and skilled learner who help people safeguard their digital assets from cyber threats. I am always keen to learn on important aspects of cyber security to include but not limited to Identity and Access Management (IAM), Information Security, Governance, Regulatory Compliance, Formulation of Security Policies and Procedures, Conduct of Security Audits and Assessments, Cybersecurity Awareness Programs, Security Incident Management, Security Monitoring and Surveillance, Encryption Technologies, Security Risk Assessment,Data Protection, Cyber crime and Cyber laws.I have handled network management, network security, Head of a Data Centre, Creation as well as implementation of cybersecurity policy, conducted cyber security trainings, business continuity.I have done certifications in cyber law, computer forensics, and cyber security from SCDL and NFSU. I have also done a 2 month internship at Gurugram Cyber crime cell besides Lead Auditor (27001 and 27701) training and certificates.I am driven by the mission of enhancing the security and resilience of the cyberspace, and I seek to apply my knowledge, skills, and competencies to contribute to the field of cyber security. I also have significant experience in leading cross functional teams of more than 55 managers and 1000 plus technical persons towards optimising communication and network security both in India and in United Nations Mission. I was also nominated as project head for acquisition and merger of two different business entities handling access and backbone communication networks and network security and i could optimise 200 persons without any degradation in QoS/ network security.Recently i have been working into data protection aspects like GDPR, DPDPA etc while pursuing PhD (part time) on Deepfake image forensics towards ensuring robust IAM.
