Worked as “; ” in RLV –TD, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).The work is concentrated on Fabrication and Integration Field of RLV-TD (Re-usable Launch Vehicle Technology Demonstrator) Project which controls all the areas of the project which includes Design, Fabrication, Structural Testing, Materials arrangement, and follows up and initiates all production activity.My responsibilities include: a) Aerospace Manufacturing: • Preparation of Process plan and QC plan of Aerospace components. • Monitoring and direct witnessing of all the processes of VSSC jobs through their various stages at regular intervals. • Maintain Daily communication between VSSC and external facilities about the status and issues regarding the work orders record of all the manufacturing processes in accordance to the procedures. • Ensure the timely realization of flight components.• Management of Materials • Management of flow of various jobs through production and inspection route cards.b) QCI (Quality control and inspection): • Preparation of dimensional inspection report and snag sheet (Dimensional deviations of flight components which are to be made by in house or externally fabricated). • Preparation of quality assessment reports• Preparation of LSC and NCRB reports• Conducting the LSC meeting and NCRB meeting for giving the final clearance of Flight components which have been dimensional deviations as per the Drawing. c) CCB (Configuration Control Board)• Member of CCB (Configuration Control Board).• Preparing the change proposal of Drawings and its 3D model • Convening CCB meeting and implementing the correction suggested by Designer and Fabricator in the final drawing. d) Vendor Management• Giving Fabrication Drawing and other Necessities to different external manufacturers• Getting the different Quotations and choosing the optimum one• FIM (Free Issue Material) to the different manufacturers through gate passes.
