Security Consultant is an individual contributor responsible for providing complex IT Security services to clients within the IBM Managed Security Services organization. As a member of a team, or working independently, performs an analytic and technical role in the design, development, implementation, integration and delivery of technical IT security solutions for our clients.

> Responsible for providing support on LAN and WAN for Data Centers.> Providing multi vendor support like Cisco, Juniper, HP, Fortigate, Avaya and Extreme Networkdevices.> Configuring Juniper layer2 and layer3 switches.> Configuration, Installation and monitoring Juniper Switches (EX-3300).> Providing network connectivity support to clients including installation, configuration of JuniperSwitches & Firewalls like Juniper EX-3300, EX4550, SRX210, SRX240.> Troubleshooting on Data Center switches. Configure and maintain new switches.> Configuration of High Availability of Juniper/Fortigate Firewalls for redundancy.> Configuring Active/Standby and Active/Active Failover with troubleshooting.> Configuring Firewall Rules, Objects, and Authentication on Fortigate and Juniper firewall.> UTM Configuration to allow and block specified URLs, categories by creating the UTM policies andadding the categories to white and blacklists.> Collaborating with local site team to troubleshoot their issues.> Upgrading data network equipment to the latest stable Cisco IOS firmware releases.> Juniper Switches/Firewall upgradation, certificate and licensing installation.> Vulnerability Assessment and Resolution for network devices> SNMP configuration & Management to achieve required level of compliance & NetworkEnrichment.> Reviewing and modifying access control lists (ACLs) on network switching and routing equipment.> Configure NAT – Source NAT and Destination NAT.> Virtual Private Network, IPsec VPN, Bandwidth Management and Troubleshooting VPN by checkingthe parameters on both side.> Configuring and troubleshooting Route based, policy based IPSEC VPNs.> Performing the Preventive Maintenance (PM) Activity for monitoring the network devices andoperations.
