Essential responsibilities are the design and control of the traction motor for L2 and L3 category LEVs.• Understanding customers' SORs and identifying motor and controller requirements.• Development of application software for traction motor control unit (TMCU) using MATLAB Simulink, TI C2000 Motor Control Blockset, and Renesas IDE CS+.• Primarily working on Field-oriented Control (FOC), Maximum Torque Per Ampere (MTPA), and field weakening (FW) strategies for PM assisted Synchronous Reluctance Motor (PMaSyRM).• Worked on six-step control for PMBLDC mid-mount and hub motor.• Performed software validation in MIL and HIL environment.• Prepared test plan and validation of the Controls on HIL environment.• Analytical electromagnetic design of the electric motor and FEA validation on Ansys Maxwell and Ansys MotorCAD.• Co-simulation of electric motor using Ansys Maxwell, Ansys Simplorer and MATLAB Simulink using S-function.• Working primarily on the electromagnetic design of (PMaSyRM).• Testing and validation of the motor prototype on dyno.

I have been a teaching assistant for the NPTEL online certification course on Introduction to Electrical Engineering. This course is mentored by Prof. Bhim Singh, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Delhi, India. This course deals with fundamentals of Electrical Engineering. The steady state and transients circuit analysis methods for AC and DC electrical circuits are covered in detail. Some basic electronic devices along with digital circuits is also included in this course. The device characteristics along with application of BJT and diodes are also included in this course. Basics of various electrical machines and electrical measurements is also discussed along with numerical problems.
